I had a nice run this morning, that is about all I can say about it. It was nice, nothing spectacular happened at all. I ran through the canyon at the end because I figured it would be dry, it was nicely dry. My pace was nice. I listened to nice music. Nice.
Now that I think back I wanted to write that when I started out my breathing seemed congested, but that cleared up nicely as I went along.
Two fowl events happened in the canyon. The first occurred on the north trail. I was running along and there were about ten Canada (yes Canada, not Canadian) Geese in the lake. When they saw me coming they all slowly paddled around to face me and as a group they all started honking until I was out of sight. I of course honked back being that I speak goose. Later as I was leaving the canyon and heading up the trail by the head of the spring, I heard quacking. I thought it was Ruthann as that is what I have my ringtone set for her and I was running with my iphone. As I went to answer it I realized it was real ducks quacking in the spring. Bird stories, yay.
Overall, nice run. I will probably head back out tomorrow for the same.
I have gotten back into my walking and am adding daughter and dog when can. My daughter is waiting for a personal training class son line for her high school credits, and I know she will have to log some sort of exercise, so that will get me out all the more.
Glad you are finally better.
That’s awesome, its always nice to get someone to go out with you. I went for a run with a friend of mine on Saturday and it was fun. I am so used to being out there by myself, it is nice to be able to talk to someone.
Good for you for getting back into walking that’s great. My doctor always encourages me to walk instead of running. Much easier on the body!
